June 22 to 27, 2026 | Aneshka Studio Transit of the Week
Something shifted last weekend, and if you felt it you weren't imagining it.
On June 21st, at exactly the moment the Sun crossed into Cancer and the Summer Solstice arrived, Chiron, the Wounded Healer, made its first ingress into Taurus in over 40 years. These two events didn't just coincide. They spoke to each other in a 60-degree sextile, the astrological aspect of ease, alignment, and creative flow.
What does that mean for this week and for the season ahead?
Let's go slow. This sky deserves it.
Cancer Season: The Water We Return To
After the mental speed and social motion of Gemini season, Cancer arrives like coming home after a long trip. The door opens. You exhale.
Cancer is the first water sign of the zodiac and water in astrology isn't just emotion. It's memory. It's the body's intelligence. It's the way we carry what our lineages felt before we were born. Cancer season asks us to stop sorting through ideas and start sensing what's true. Not what makes rational sense but what feels aligned. What brings you back to yourself.
This is a season of sanctuary. Of inner tending. Of figuring out what "home" means physically, emotionally, energetically.
With Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter all currently in Cancer, the emotional field this week is amplified. Conversations may feel more intimate. Choices may arrive as knowing before they arrive as logic. Let them.
Chiron in Taurus: The Wound That Lives in the Body
Here is what I keep returning to this week.
Chiron entered Taurus on June 19th, the first time since 1984. This isn't a brief visit. While it will retrograde back into Aries in September, Chiron will settle into Taurus fully in April 2027 and remain there through 2033/2034. What begins now is a preview of a years-long healing cycle.
Chiron is called the Wounded Healer for a reason. In Greek mythology, he was a centaur, half human, half horse, a brilliant teacher and healer who carried an unhealable wound of his own. His medicine wasn't that he suffered. It was that he transmuted his suffering into wisdom he could offer others.
In Aries, where Chiron has been since 2018, the collective wound was around identity. The right to assert yourself. The pain of a world that doesn't recognize you. Many of us have been in a long, slow excavation of who we are beyond what we were told to be.
Taurus changes the frame entirely.
Taurus rules the body. The earth beneath your feet. Material security. Self-worth, not what you perform, but what you feel you deserve at a foundational, survival level. The money in your account. The food on your table. Whether you believe, in your nervous system, that you are allowed to take up space and receive.
Chiron in Taurus will surface the wounds that live so close to the bone we've stopped noticing them. The survival-level beliefs inherited from parents, grandparents, cultures that told us we had to earn our right to rest, to beauty, to enough. The ways we disconnect from our bodies when safety feels uncertain. The places where we struggle to receive.
This is not comfortable medicine. But Chiron never promised comfort. Only wisdom.
The Sun Sextile Chiron: This Week's Opening
The week begins with the Sun in Cancer still in fresh sextile with Chiron in Taurus, the aspect that opened on the Solstice and carries its energy forward.
A sextile is a 60-degree angle of opportunity. Not a push, not a crisis. An opening. Think of it as a door left ajar. You have to choose to walk through it.
This Sun-Chiron sextile is specific: the Cancer Sun (emotions, home, belonging, the inner self) reaching toward Chiron in Taurus (the body, worth, material safety). The invitation this week is to let your emotional truth land in your body. Not just to feel your feelings but to feel them as sensation, as something that moves through muscle and breath and the soles of your feet.
For those of us who have learned to live in our heads, to analyze, to understand, to make sense of everything, this is the harder practice. Chiron in Taurus doesn't care about your conclusions. It cares about whether you feel safe enough in your body to be present in it.
Moon Phases This Week
Libra Moon
Relationship clarity arrives. Conversations feel meaningful, even tender. A good window for honest exchanges, both with others and with yourself. The Libra Moon seeks balance. What in your life needs to be brought back into equilibrium?
Scorpio Moon
Depth and intensity. Scorpio Moon doesn't do surface level. It goes beneath, into the places we usually avoid. Emotions may feel heavier, revelations more sudden. This is a powerful window for shadow work, journaling, or anything requiring unflinching honesty. Don't resist what surfaces.
Sagittarius Moon
Release and perspective. After the Scorpio depth, the Sagittarius Moon lifts the atmosphere. You may find yourself able to see your situation from a wider vantage point, with more optimism, more humor, more faith in the larger arc. Let yourself breathe here.
June 25: Sun Square Neptune
On June 25th, the Sun in Cancer forms a square with Neptune in Aries, a 90-degree tension aspect.
Neptune rules illusion, longing, spiritual vision, and the places where reality blurs at the edges. In Aries, Neptune has been dissolving old identities, old stories about who we're supposed to be.
This square asks: where do you desire to move forward, but still don't feel safe enough in your body to do so? Where does the longing outpace the groundedness?
This is not a day for major decisions or signed contracts. It's a day for noticing what you're reaching toward and then asking Chiron's question beneath it: what would I need to heal to actually receive this?
What This Has to Do With Adornment?
I make jewelry because I believe in the ritual of adorning the body.
Not as decoration. As declaration.
What we choose to place on our skin, the metals, the forms, the weight of a piece against our wrist or ankle, is an act of tending. Of saying: this body is worth ornamentation. This body deserves to be marked as sacred.
Chiron in Taurus is going to spend the next several years asking us to reckon with what we believe we're worth. With the wounds around deserving beauty, abundance, rest, pleasure, care.
The new anklets and toe rings I'm releasing this week feel deeply aligned with this moment. They adorn the parts of us that touch the earth first. The places closest to ground. The feet that carry us, often without notice, without gratitude, through every day of our lives.
To place something handcrafted and intentional there is its own small healing.
Sterling silver and 14k gold vermeil, hand-sculpted. Available now.
Reflection Prompts for the Week
For your journal, your morning pages, your quiet moments this Cancer season:
On the Horizon
June 29th: Jupiter enters Leo. The energy shifts dramatically from Cancer's inward emotional depth to Leo's bold, creative, radiant self-expression. And Mercury begins its retrograde in Cancer the same day, a month of returning to unfinished emotional conversations and revisiting what we thought we'd already processed.
More on that next week.
