Full Moon in Capricorn a few days after the Summer Solstice which "happens" to fall on Father's Day. Lol. You can't make this stuff up. Why is this so significant you ask? Well, let's get into it...
So first things first, Summer Solstice. One of the most energetically potent days of the year, when the Earth is closest to the Sun and we have reached the peak of light on the planet. We have also reached the peak of harnessing what our individual light or "fire" represents - ACTION. Spring was full blown action-mode and as we dip into summer, we slow down, we rest, the days get shorter and we trust that all of the efforts we have put forth over coming months will come into fruition. During this Summer break, we await the harvest. And with this resting, this nourishing that Cancer season brings, we let go of the rigid timelines and the need to go, go, go, go, go!!
This season's first Full Moon appropriately falling in the sign of Capricorn. Capricorn being associated with the traditional role of "fatherhood," the traditional means of which we associate the ability to materially provide and also with...wait for it...FATHER TIME. (You can't make this stuff up). We are redefining timelines here, loosening the rigidity and control associated with being "productive" and trusting that as we nourish our souls we will be nourished in all forms of mind, body and spirit. Yes many places are now "open" - but that doesn't mean to go harder. It means trusting the plans and actions you have taken in previous months, letting Divine take a hold of the ropes and knowing you are fully supported in the manifestation of the fruits of your emotional and physical labor.
